Training

GROUND TRAINING

Sha - Shib Flying Academy team conducts approximately 350 hrs. of class room training for aspiring pilots covering a period of three to four months. Classes are conducted six days a week so as to cover the entire syllabus prescribed by the DGCA. The following subjects are taught:

  • Air Navigation
  • Instrument and Radio Aids
  • Aviation Meteorology
  • Air Regulations
  • Aircraft and Engine
  • Technical General
  • Radio Telephony

With our dedicated team of instructors and your hard work to become a pilot, these classes are programmed and structured to prepare you as per DGCA requirement for clearing the above DGCA examinations.

FLYING TRAINING

This is the boom time in civil aviation. Aspiring pilots can't ill-afford to waste precious time in completing their flying eligibility requirements. Sha-Shib Flying Academy aims to train the students with the best bet quality within minimum time frame. Courses offered areas follows :

  • CPL with Single Engine IR (CPL SE IR)
  • Student Pilot License
  • PPL
  • 50hrs package
  • 25 hrs package
  • Multi-Engine Flying (on student request)
  • Skill Test by DGCA approved Examiner

Time frame for completing the courses, subject to the student clearing the DGCA papers and RTR (A) test and barring unforeseen circumstances, are as follows :

      CPL (SE IR)         -      15 months

      PPL                     -        06 months

      50 hrs. package  -     05 months

      25H Package       -     04 months

 

GROUND EXAMINATION

During the course, students will have to successfully clear the following examination conducted by the DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation and WPC, Ministry of Communication.

  • Students' Pilot Licence (SPL)
  • Student Pilot Endorsement (Cessna 172)
  • Flight Radio Telephony Operators licence (FRTOL)
  • Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
  • Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
  • Radio Telephony- Restricted (RTR) (A)

Students are required to take examinations stipulated by the DGCA at Bhopal or approved centers (Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkatta etc.) to qualify for their licence. The DGCA Exam schedule can be obtained from the Operations Office. The Radio Telephony exam conducted once in every two months at the various cities mentioned above.
